VICTORIA POLICE REGULATIONS 2014 - REG 15
Lapse of applications(1) If a police officer is selected for promotion under section 31 of the Act, any other applications for promotion or transfer by the officer lapse.
(2) If a police officer is selected for transfer under section 34 of the Act, any other applications for transfer by the officer lapse.
